FSL and ESL courses
The FSL and ESL courses form a large part of the CIOCINSTITUTE program. Each student has an optimal learning opportunity and a high level of attention. Our courses are precisely designed by our experienced teaching team and our teachers are qualified in TESL type second language teaching and / or hold relevant university degrees. Our teaching formulas allow students to learn in depth and better assimilate their second language. Adequate supervision and mentoring promote rapid progress and help identify students’ strengths and weaknesses in order to guide them towards achieving their linguistic objectives. Our sessions last four (4) weeks. Small formative and summative evaluations are given regularly during the first three (3) weeks. During the fourth week, the “exam week”, students will have to take final written tests online on the platform. And take part in interviews with their regular teachers in order to give them oral presentations via zoom. Students will receive their results before the last day of the session and will know if they have passed or failed.
French Second Language Course (FLS)
CIOCINSTITUTE offers 11 levels of FSL of different intensities: part-time, intensive and super-intensive. Your courses will be 100% online.
1- Beginner levels (1 - 3)
Learners will acquire the basic knowledge necessary to be functional in everyday situations. They will also learn to speak general subjects and to master the basic elements of the language.
2- Intermediate levels (4 - 7)
Learners will enrich their basic skills and deepen their knowledge of French grammar and idioms, prepare oral presentations and write short dissertations. They will participate in group discussions and debates via a platform.
* Compulsory immersion tourist trip to North America of 15 days + delivery of essential final work 3 weeks after the trip for graduation (minimum of 10 to 15 people required.)
3- Advanced levels (8 - 11)
Learners will be exposed to more complex and difficult texts. The emphasis will be on the speed of understanding. Learners will learn to take notes, summarize texts, write presentations and write essays. At the end of these courses, learners should have the skills necessary to continue their technical and academic studies and to work effectively in a professional environment. Students will participate in more advanced group discussions and debates via a platform.

Intensity
Part-time
You want to improve your knowledge. You have a variety of language skills courses available. Choose the courses you would like to take, for a minimum total of 15 hours per week or more at your leisure. At the end of each course you will get a certificate. The courses are 100% online part-time for a fixed period of time depending on the date chosen. You can adjust according to your needs, your availability and your interests (e.g. grammar, conversation, etc.). Please note that international learners cannot enroll in part-time programs if they intend to apply for a study permit. They can only register for intensive or super-intensive programs.
Intensive
The intensive program includes grammar and conversation classes (listening-discussion-reading-writing) for a total of 22.5 hours per week. Classes are taught 100% online. This program will help you develop your language skills, games, practical exercises, additional workshops and real-life scenarios. * Compulsory immersion tourist trip to North America of 15 days + delivery of essential final work 3 weeks after the trip for graduation (minimum of 10 to 15 people required.)
Super intensive
This special super-intensive program is ideal for learners who want to improve their language skills faster. It includes all intensive program courses in addition to a selection of workshops and specialization courses, for a total of 30 hours per week taught 100% online. For beginner learners, please note that we do not offer specialization courses because of their language skills. They are not able to receive this specialization because their knowledge is not yet deep enough. Rather, we offer them additional grammar and / or conversation workshops, or other courses that better meet their needs. * Compulsory immersion tourist trip to North America of 15 days + delivery of essential final work 3 weeks after the trip for graduation (minimum of 10 to 15 people required.) CIOCINSTITUTE offers you the possibility of starting your lessons on any Monday. However, we strongly recommend that you choose one of our official start dates. TOEIC and TOEFL preparation course
After completing the English program, we offer students two pre-university courses to prepare them for the international TOEFL and TOEIC tests of English as a foreign language. These courses have been specially designed and offer excellent preparation for the tests. Our teachers are TOEFL qualified and our materials are constantly updated. We are proud to announce that 80% of our TOEFL and TOEIC preparation course students have been accepted into the university of their choice.

Virtual IELTS Preparation
English for International opportunity
You will gain the confidence and techniques needed to take the IELTS exam and achieve your desired score. The IELTS Exam is recognized by most of organizations worldwide, including schools, universities, employers, immigration authorities and professional bodies.
The IELTS Preparation course provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) exam. Students can prepare for both the Academic and General Training tests in the same class.
